Kingdom Multiplication

A BETTER STORY Kingdom Multiplication 10.23.22 Our Story: God has redeemed us, and all of creation, to bring Him glory and to bring His Kingdom to earth. One of the greatest lies of the enemy is trying to get you to believe that your ordinary, everyday faithfulness and obedience are not enough to bring about significant kingdom impact. Matthew 13:8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Matthew 13:23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Matthew 13:31-33 31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” 33 He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.” One act of kindness One sacrifice One gift given One disciple made One church planted One word spoken One car ride One visit One phone call or text One baby – child – teenager discipled One act of generosity One step of obedience Do you want to be “known” or do you want to make a kingdom impact? Do you want to make a “splash” or are you willing to faithfully persevere? Will you persevere in obedience even if you never see the harvest or if someone else reaps the harvest? Are you waiting on something big or are you willing to use what is in your hand? Do you believe that small acts of obedience can bring God’s kingdom to reality on earth?

From Series: "A Better Story"

We love a good story! Something that captures our imaginations and takes us somewhere. Something that gives our lives meaning, context, and hope. Unfortunately, we often get so caught up in trying to write our own story that we lose our God-given purpose. We trade a life of eternal kingdom impact for the temporary and empty rewards of our own desires. In this series, we will lay down our story for a better story and be intentional about leaving a legacy of kingdom impact and purpose.
